
We invite the members of Northwestern Rural Electric Cooperative and other residents of the communities we serve to join us as we celebrate 90 years of cooperation.
On Saturday, Aug. 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., we’ll host our 90th Anniversary Celebration at the cooperative headquarters, 22534 Hwy. 86, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.
Enjoy live music by Salmon Frank, facepainting by Taradoodles, hot line safety demonstrations, bucket truck rides, and more!
Join Troy Firth, co-founder and forester for the Foundation for Sustainable Forests, for guided walks in the Northwestern REC Community Forest at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

We'll be collecting non-perishable food items for the food pantry at Center for Family Services in Meadville, new school supplies for Associated Charities in Titusville, and brand-new unwrapped toys for Taradoodles Toybox of Erie. The first 1,500 members who donate an item will receive a special 90th insulated cooler bag.
Food trucks include Wooden Nickel Buffalo Farm, Bean & Bear Cafe, and Kona Ice. Members - be sure to stop by the Northwestern REC welcome booth to check in and receive vouchers toward your purchases at the food trucks and play co-op plinko for a prize!
Bring the kiddos to for storytime with members of our staff, reading books about linemen, electric safety, and electric cooperatives.
