Jody Loudenslager Scholarships
At least two $1,000 scholarships in memory of Jody Loudenslager are available to past Co-op Youth Tour participants through the Pennsylvania Rural Electric Association Scholarship Trust Fund in Memory of William F. Matson each year. Jody Loudenslager, a 1995 Pennsylvania Rural Electric Association Youth Tour student from Trout Run, Pa., was among the 230 passengers killed July 17, 1996, when TWA Flight 800 exploded shortly after take-off from New York. Since Jody was committed to higher education, the scholarship was created to honor her and help Youth Tour participants with college costs.
